Luxor Overnight Tour From Hurghada

Experience our overnight trip to Luxor from Hurghada. You will explore all of the world renowned sites in Luxor on both the east and the west banks of the Nile river. Visit Karnak & Luxor TemplesValley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut temple, Medinet Habu, Luxor Museum and colossi of Memnon.

Itinerary:

​Day 1

Early in the morning  your English speaking driver will collect you in one of our air-conditioned vehicles to drive you to Luxor where your Egyptologist guide will be waiting to begin your itinerary.  Start by visiting Karnak Temple the largest religious site in Egypt, 30 Pharaohs thought to have contributed to its construction,  walk along the avenue of sphinxes, see the awesome hall of columns at the Hypostyle hall, the obelisks, and the great scarab beetle next to the sacred lake. Next we proceed to visit Luxor temple, which was once joined to the temple of Karnak by a three-kilometer long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple. The rear part of the temple constructed by Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC), while the entrance built by Ramses II (1290–1223 BC) Lastly we visit Luxor Museum before being transferred to your Hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast continue your adventure of Luxor on the West Bank and the Temple of Medinet Habu the mortuary temple of Ramses III. the temple made of sandstone is the second largest complex in the area, the first being Karnak, then we continue to The Valley of the Kings one of Luxor's greatest attractions, the burial place of the Kings of Thebes. This ancient burial site houses over 60 Egyptian kings and pharaohs, the most famous of all is King Tutankhamun himself, so be sure not to miss out on the opportunity. If you wish to visit the tomb of Tutankhamun and Ramses VI. (optional extra ticket on spot). Next a short ride to the Temple of Hatshepsut, Queen Hatshepsut, the famous female ruler of Egypt who posed as a male to gain the throne. The Temple is one of the most striking monuments in Egypt, built at the bottom of al Qurna mountain in Luxor’s west bank. whose mortuary temple is one of the sites most impressive architectural structures.  We then stop to admire the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
